What if you could have decor that was inspired by a timeless cultural element, handcrafted from specialty concrete and could be used as a coaster, hanging wall art and fridge magnet?
The shape that inspires their product has beginnings as far back as the Persian Empire. Originally called the “boteh” meaning bush, historians are still uncertain what inspired it, but some say it’s a flame and some say a fig. This shape evolved and traveled via the Silk Road to India and influenced Indian culture in many ways, always being present in their memories from growing up there. It then traveled during the British Raj to Paisley, Scotland where it was extensively used in shawls and other clothing and from where our product gets its name. They are proud to pay tribute to this timeless shape by handcrafting it in the form of useful, simple, everyday decor for your home.
